Vuvuzelas sound fantastic!

For those of you who may have thought otherwise, I’m here to set the record straight. Yes, they’re definitely annoying when heard on TV. But the sound is much more complex than the rather monotone drone that one hears during broadcasts from South Africa. As long as the instrument isn’t being directly behind you when you’re in a stadium (and that’s a big caveat), the sound can really be enjoyable. The range of expert and amateur horn-blowing, plus the occasional synchronized pulses makes for an enjoyable experience.
